1963 Fender Stratocaster. This all original instrument is collector grade, complete with it's original matching number hang tag, original trem bar, original trem cover, original strap, and original bridge cover.
All nickel plated parts on this guitar are shiny and pristine, including bridge and tuners. The Mint Green Guard has no flaws other than the normal shrinkage, and is still glossy on the surface, free of pick scratches. The sunburst finish shows little fading of the red.
There are a few nicks and dings on the body, and some buckle rash. The neck finish is perfect. We rarely see a 60's Stratocaster this clean. This is truly a collector grade guitar.
The serial number is L05XXX. The guitar weighs 7.9 lbs. The medium, "C" shaped neck measures .817" at 1st fret and .961" at 12th fret. Original pickups measure, from neck to bridge, 6.0K, 5.6K, 5.9K Ohms.
The original brown Tolex case is in pristine condition. One of the cleanest cases we have ever seen. The leather on the handle is perfect, as though it has never been carried anywhere.
It is clear that this guitar rarely, if ever, left the home of the original owner, and the climate was perfect for keeping the guitar in pristine condition. If you are looking for the cleanest, most collectible early 60's Strat, look no further.
