1957 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst - Body only refin
BMVG's is pleased to present this excellent Fender Stratocaster from 1957!
1957 was a great year for the model as Fender had fully "hit their stride" in the Strats 4th year of production. The gorgeous 2 tone Sunburst with a big juicy V neck and shimmering tones are just a few of the reasons that 57's remains one of the most coveted iteration to this day.
This instrument is an absolute feather coming in at 7 lbs. even. The exceptionally voiced black bottom pickups are perfectly balanced reading 5.95 N - 5.98 M - 5.88 B (NO rewinds). This Strat is 100% original where it matters most! The body was recently refinished & the guitar was re-fretted at that time. The playability is spot on, this little lady is ready to rock for another lifetime!
Both of the original body & neck dates remain 8 -57. The pots all date to the 23rd week of 57, nothing has been altered under the hood. Logo is perfect, neck finish is 100% factory. Original tweed case is in VG+ condition as well!
