This is a super cool early 1980's made in Japan ST62-65 Stratocaster that plays and sounds great! This guitar is equipped with the cloth covered USA vintage style single coil pickups. The neck pocket does not have a date stamp included but the "JV" serial prefix denotes manufacture between 1982-1984, the first years of Fender Japan production.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body. There's also some minor dings present on the headstock and the hardware shows some light tarnishing from over time. The frets are still playing great despite some slight grooves starting to form on the lower frets. All of the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm has been added, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
