Player grade but real Mustang. Everything looks to be original and straight except tremolo bar/set screw and strap buttons. Mustang is missing off of decal logo on headstock.
Correct Stackpole pots date 12th week of '65. L neck plate is also a '65 number.
Looks to be Brazilian Rosewood on fingerboard. May '65 neck date.
Still plenty of life in the original fretwire.
Real problem with this guitar is it looks like someone took a Brillo pad to the finish (attempting to look more relic'd?) so it looks pretty rough. But, it is a real finish and you can see the Fullerplast coat underneath.
