1958 Fender High Power Twin Tweed, Very Good, $12,000.00

Very hard to find 1958 high power Twin. They only made these for a few years and they didn't make a lot of them. These were gigging amps-most folks don't need 80 watts for the home amp. And therefore, most of them are pretty beat up. Originals have gone from expensive to sticker shock territory-northward of $25000 for a ratty one. Clean ones? Good luck. This one is expertly re-tweeded-not sure by whom and not sure when. It shows some wear and looks pretty authentic. The trannies are original. Some of the caps have been replaced but the yellow Astrons are intact. This one has correct Jensen P12N's but they are not original to this amp nor are they the correct year (one is a 62, the other is a 60-both recently re-coned by Vin-Tone). Matched quad of GE 6L6's. Handle is a good repro.
