2015 Fender Custom Shop Willcutt 'True 62' Relic Statocaster Olympic White, Excellent, Original Hard, $2,599.00
As one of Fender's largest east coast Custom Shop dealers, Willcutt Guitars of Lexington, Kentucky was not to be outdone by competitor Wildwood Guitars and has introduced their own premium Custom Shop Stratocaster models. The "True '62" offered here is based upon the Journeyman Relic Strat. Fender gives this limited model a light weight Alder body, a premium AA grade flame Maple neck, a particularly dark AAA grade Rosewood fretboard and special hand wound Custom Shop True 62 pickups and vintage style 3-way switching to differentiate this guitar from other Custom Shop Stratocasters.
This particular True 62 Strat offered here has the following specs: a large C-shaped neck with depth measurements of .875" at the 1st fret increasing to .950" at the 12th fret; 6105 frets; a 9.5" radius; a 1.650" bone nut; and it weighs just 7.6 pounds.
As with Wildwood "10" guitars, this True 62 is hand picked to be among the best team built guitars to come out of the Fender Custom Shop. As soon as you pick it up and play a few notes you know this is a special Strat. It is light, resonant and particularly playable. The tone is superb and the pickups have a vintage style output.
This Olympic White beauty is perfectly aged by Fender and is in great condition, frets included. It appears to be completely original except that the volume pot has been replaced and the three-way switch has been upgraded to a five-way. It comes in it's special edition G&G case along with the certificate of authenticity, the build sheet and most all of the accessories, along with the original three-way switch.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
