The "Custom 1960 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic" model was built by former master builder John Cruz, who now produces the instrument under his own brand.
John Cruz, known as the "Relic Master", has applied a bold and meticulous relic treatment to the instrument, reproducing the paint peeling on the elbow and back contour, the discoloration of the body and neck due to age, the yellowed plastic parts and rusted metal parts.
The neck shape is a ’60 Style Oval C, the fingerboard has a 9.5 radius, Sanko 6105 frets, and a head adjustable Bi-Flex truss rod that allows both forward and reverse bends.
The pickups are equipped with HW Strat JC LTD, made to order with specific number of windings to be built by John Cruz, and the volume knob has a built-in S-1 switch for a wider range of sound variations, including add-front/rear PUs.
There is no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition with no problems.
