Fender Custom Shop 2024 Eric Clapton Stratocaster Ash Body Journeyman Relic
This is the "Eric Clapton Stratocaster Journeyman Relic" model, a new model introduced in 2017 with different specs to previous Clapton models.
The body is made of ash for the first time on an Eric Clapton Stratocaster, and the body and neck are finished in lacquer instead of the traditional polyurethane finish. The fine scratches, weather checks and tarnished parts have been reproduced.
The neck (Eric Clapton V shape), designed by Clapton himself, has a heavily stripped Heavy Relic finish, and the 22 brimmed frets and 9.5R fingerboard with Vintage Upgrade size frets.
The signature features of the model have been retained, including Vintage Noiseless pickups, tremolo unit secured by a removable wood block, TBX tone controls, mid boost circuit up to 25dB, and bi-directional head adjust rods.
It is in pristine condition, like mint, with no fret wear, and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
