NEW - This Fender Custom Shop Time Machine Series Journeyman Relic Stratocaster was ordered as a 1959 model with specs similar to the famous Strat the legendary Hank Marvin played with his band the Shadows. It comes with a thin skin Fiesta Red finish with gold hardware. The end result is nothing more than stunning!
It’s crafted from lightweight alder with a quarter sawn maple neck finished in nitrocellulose lacquer with a slight aging toner for that vintage look. The rolled edged rosewood fingerboard gives this guitar an amazing feel. The guitar is fitted with Fender custom shop pickups, and period correct pickguard, pickup covers and knobs. This is an amazing looking and playing guitar! The sound is very Hank Marvin and the Shadows!
