Fender Custom Shop 2006 1961 Stratocaster Relic
This is a "1961 Stratocaster Relic" model in Olympic White with slab rosewood fingerboard.
It has a small head, slab laminated rosewood fingerboard, and mint green pickguard, and is finished with weather checks and dents for an atmospheric look.
The neck is a thin C-shape, which is typical of the '61 model, with a 7.25R fingerboard with narrow tool frets.
The pickups are equipped with original black bobbins.
The volume pot and back panel have been replaced.
The guitar shows signs of wear and has numerous non-relic damage such as peeling paint and dents on the back of the neck and body.
The guitar was re-fretted and re-nutted after we acquired this guitar, and the neck and truss rod work fine.
The certificate is missing.
