1966 Fender Coronado II

Here we have an all original (minus pickguard) Fender Coronado II from 1966. This one owner guitar had not been played in 25 to 30 years. It had some high action and dirt, but after a nice clean up, total set up, wait a few days and then another final set up plays just wonderfully. Looks as if the knobs were changed but I do have two of the originals in the case. These were made from 66’to 1970. This is a thin-line, semi hollow body, double cut with block inlays and no tremolo as that was optional back then. This is a beautiful checkerboard binding guitar and in a super hard to find Ocean Turquoise color…just stunning in person. Some bumps and bruises as you would expect from a one owner guitar with original case. Case has the same wear from being 57 years old. Some case covering is rough, case even in bare spots has not separated. The case is still in good solid structural condition and all latches work. No smells, no s and clean inside and out with exception of a peeled Colorado sticker. $2,300
