Description

This 1994 Fender Blues Deville type PR247, serial number T29238 is in "very good" condition. The tweed covering shows some wear and tear, to be expected from an amp that has been played and enjoyed.

This amp is currently equipped with 4-10" MojoTone M10RR speakers, we feel they give it a bit more clarity and definition. Three 12AX7A’s and two 5881’s that have now been replaced by Groove Tube 6L6GC's, provide 60 watts into 8 Ohms.

Fender introduced the Blues Deville in an effort to recapture the warm tone and dynamic performance characteristics of their vintage amps.

Due to its channel switching apabilities, the Blues Deville is really two vintage amps in one. The "Normal" channel is based on the original tweed "BASSMAN" circuit of the late 1950"s even including a "Bright" switch. The "DRIVE" channel shares the same tone controls as the "NORMAL" channel but has separate "DRIVE" and "MASTER"
controls.

If somewhere on your "bucket list" you’re thinking a "BASSMAN" with Reverb and channel switching, look no further!
