Description

Offered is this luscious 2007 Collings I-35 Deluxe in Crimson nitro lacquer. If you have been lusting for a semi-hollow electric for your guitar arsenal, then this instrument warrants your careful consideration.

The I-35 Deluxe model has a solid (not laminated) carved Maple top with purfling and grained ivoroid binding throughout. This one received a premium-grade flame top. The neck is Collings medium/fat C-shape, measuring .845" at the first fret, increasing to .980" at the twelfth fret. The fretboard is Indian Rosewood with fancy parallelogram inlays and binding. The bone nut has a width of 1-11/16" and the fretboard radius is 12." This guitar is incredibly light, weighing just 6 pounds, 11 ounces! The electronics include Lollar Low Wind Imperial humbuckers with a traditional switching setup (2 vol/2 tone/3 way). The bridge and tailpiece are nickel-plated TonePros.

The build quality, playability and tone of this guitar is as good as anything you will find. Please check out the brief sound sample provided. Gibson 335 lovers should take note; once you play one of these, you will never be satisfied with an ES series guitar again!

This guitar is in excellent condition showing only the very lightest of play and handling wear and no significant flaws. The frets are in near mint condition. It comes in it's original Collings/TKL case, also in excellent condition.

A new example of this instrument will cost you approximately $6K. Get this well preserved beauty for far less. Another magnificent Collings guitar and highly recommended.
