Gibson Custom Shop 2024 Murphy LAB 1968 Les Paul Custom Ultra Light Aged w/ Nickel Hardware

The "1968 Les Paul Ultra Light Aged" has been aged by Murphy Lab, a new team specializing in aging led by Tom Murphy, a founding member of the Gibson Custom Shop and a leading aging expert.

This is one of the limited production models for Japan with nickel hardware.

The Ultra Light Aged finish reproduces the vintage guitar that has been carefully stored in a case with weather checks and minor damage. It is a reproduction of the 1968 specs featuring Ebony Black finish, ebony fretboard, Maple top and Mahogany back.

The guitar features Kluson waffle back tuners and the neck is a relatively thin Authentic '68 Medium C-Shape. It is a relatively lightweight Les Paul Custom as it weighs at 4.03kg.

The pickups are two 68 Custom Humbuckers, which were developed by former Historic Product Manager Edwin Wilson.

It is in very good condition with little signs of use, no fret wear, and no problems with the neck and truss rod.
